Instructions:
1. Marinate the Pork Belly:
Wash the pork belly thoroughly and season with lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and crushed garlic.
Let marinate for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
2. Fry the Pork Belly:
Heat the oil or pork lard in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the pork belly and fry until crispy and golden, stirring occasionally for even cooking.
Remove and drain on paper towels to eliminate excess grease. Set aside.
3. Prepare the Onions:
In the same skillet, remove excess fat if necessary, leaving just enough to sauté.
Add the onion slices and sauté until soft and slightly golden. Add salt to taste.
4. Assemble the Dish:
Mix the crispy pork belly with the sautéed onions or serve separately.
Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
